I think these are the Knie Palominos, but I would need confirmation from anyone who recognized the interior of the tent. The practice surcingles look different then the ones Krone uses so I am assuming.

Just guessing here, but I would have said Krone or Knie. Since you know the Krone deal, we can eliminate them. I recognize the ring curb to be similar to Knie.
Chris
The perfect Knie seating system is unique on the planet.
Raffaele,
I guess we have confirmed that they are the Knie Palominos. They did look a deeper golden the Krones, but not knowing the time of year, that would not have been a valid indicator. What about the seats makes them unique. Could you explain. Thank you.

I thought I would share a part of an email from somebody who admits they no nothing about animal training learned when they went to see Fredy Knie and National Circus Knie last year:
Four times we attended the training of the horses in the morning. Very interesting. I'm no profesional of course but I learned some things about horse training there: Fredy uses these "cavaletti's" to make the horses think about their steps. An important part of the training of every individual stallion was walking backwards and learning patiently to wait for commands. It's amazing to see mr. Knie pick one animal out of the group and make him run at the inner side of the ring without upsetting the rest. They were also in training with their caroussel.
Knie is the only circus still using the perfect circular seating system introduced in the 20s in the European big tops, but improved in a much intimate size. It completely fills the big top space, with no distance between the ring and the firsts rows,no loge boxes, and with accesses exclusively from staircases outside. This giving a perfect intimacy and visibility, as in some small circus buildings of the past
In the Usa, Big Apple Circus was strongly inspired by this seating system.
The bench rows you see in the back, have been last year replaced for the first time by confortable individual seats. Also the folding chairs are last year disappeared, making this circus today a jewel in confort and atmosphere.
Raffaele,
Knie is a jewel even if you are sitting on a bale of hay.
