The photo on top shows one of if not THEE only surviving Sparks Circus wagon commonly referred to as the Sea Serpent Tab.
While the photo below is of a model, the actual wagon is now indeed painted red with gold carvings.

Why? Why would they do that? Is it all part of a master plan to drive the nitwit townie from North Dakota mad? To see how much he can take, before he crack's and looses what little mind he has left? Is that what all of this is about???? I am beginning to think folks like you and Flint and Goodall were all half nut's before you starting looking into this stuff. That way you just ride the wave, and think it is all grand.

Bob, I think one of the Sparks wagons you`re refering to may be the Dolphin Tap. It was sometimes called the Sea Serpent Tab also. Don`t know why, it clearly has dolphin carvings.

Sure, as long as we are going to change it's color, let's go ahead and change it's name, sometimes. While we are at it, let's change the animals carved on it. You are another one of those half nut's folk's that somehow find pleasure and relaxation in circus wagons....... Freaking crackpots!!!!!!

Wade, The Sea Serpent & the Dolphin Tabs were 2 different wagons. Picture of my model of these wagons are being emailed to you.
The Sparks wagon was rebuilt at CWM around 2000-2001. It was completely torn down, squared up and any rotten lumber replaced. When it first came to CWM it had been worked on previously by a private owner. At that time the carvings were removed and a fiber type sheathing was placed over the plank sides. The carvings were reapplied and it was painted white/silver because "it was pretty".
At the time of the CWM restoration the sheathing was removed and a door in the side was discovered- complete with the hinges and lock assembly. New carvings were made for the skyboards and the colors red/gold were applied. Again this was done to make the wagon appear aas it did originally on the Sparks show.
