Great stuff. I believe Jules nom de plume was Jerry Erwin. Erwin was his middle name. I heard Ruth desired to return to life on the farm. Jules married a daughter of a big carnival owner in Mexico in the late 1930s. I met her but she didn't speak much English even being in the U.S. for decades. Don't know if she was ever a performer but her sister lost an arm working a cat act.
