Manual "Junior" "Prince Bogino" Ruffian, who was a cage boy for Clyde Beatty, has always been touted at the "first" black African American wild animal trainer. Does anyone know who that is in the picture above, and what year it was? I was told that this was an act from Mexico so he may not even be African American, but I find it interesting.

Who was first?
Josip Marcan
This looks like the Great Western Exhibition Center, in Commerce California where Hawthorn used to winter at. I stayed there one year, in 1976 and then Hawthorn moved to Illinois in 77-78.
Joh "Tarzan" Zerbini

That's a pretty skinny Jon, with a fake skin loin cloth, and hockey sticks with the blade cut off. I wonder if it was before he became the "Lord of the Jungle?"

I believe that gun belt is called a "Sam Browne" with the strap over the shoulder. Not very often worn, even in the old day's. As unusual as the horrible, obviously hand made "fork." Any thoughts on who this is?
Unknown

This is bad looking all around, props, arena, lions, etc. etc. The initials RB are on the what ever that board around the seats is called. Any idea's whom this is and what show? Not everything was good about the good old day's, that for sure.
Noyka and Simba

This postcard is labeled Noyka and Simba. Going on the assumption that Simba is the horribly overweight lion(caricature is the word that comes to mind), does anyone know anything at all about "Noyka?" The painted back drop almost looks more like a zoo situation then a circus, yet the clothing is odd.
