I love these photo's because they really jam "political correctness." :) Crusty old zoo keeper smoking a cigar in front of an old barred bear enclosure. Jim A., do you recall this gentleman's name. I think he was Polish and was a long time bear keeper at Lincoln Park.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe Lincoln Park exhibit's Brown Bears any more. I think once Mark Rosenthal and staff started producing the soup out of Spectacled(Andean) Bears and additional space was needed the Brown's were 86'd.
