Cole Bros. Circus 2011

I recall a short time ago when Ringling eliminated two ring's and went to a one ring oval type of deal format. Fans and older performers screamed like stuck pigs and rued the Feld Corp orations "raping" of the American Circus. I don't recall the same out rage at the Cole show, true to form following along with the same, it appears successful format. When a Feld produced show struggles the fans and most of the "old school" stand up and cheer their plight, as well as offering "sound" advice on why they are having troubles. Same deal with a giant like Solei. They produce one stinker, and fans and the "old school" raise glasses, ignoring the dozen's of success's around the world. But let a little something like Vidbel's Old Fashioned Circus tap out, and oh the moaning, wringing of hands, and expressions of unfairness come fast and quick. You have to wonder if that kind of mentality may be the leading cause of the demise of the whole deal, as we remember it.........
