Wade,
there must be a mistake somewhere. Looking at the pics it does not look like Krone in these years. Frieda Sembach-Krone used to present the elephants back then and Krone as a West German circus did not play in Eastern Germany (Leipzig). My guess is that it's not Krone but rather one of the East German circusses such as Jakob Busch or Barlay, which were later renamed and became part of the East German State Circus system.
