Ghost Zoo--Belle Vue, Dublin Ireland

Another shot of the old entrance gate, similar to the one I posted that Sam "spanked" me on, as I thought it was Belle Vue in Manchester.

Elephant House, above and an incredible "montage" shot of the out door exhibit moat below. Note the house's in the background. Great historical perspective picture.

You can usually always tell if a zoo picture was taken by just a tourist, or an animal person. The tourist tends to just take a picture of a particular animal, and the animal person tends to take a picture of the surroundings or buildings, irrelevant of what animal is housed there. The same with photographs of defunct zoos. The animal person gives you a great perspective of what once was.

This is all in Belfast. A different capital city. In a different country. Trust me I'm from Dublin :P
