It is crazy that you can still find something like this for sale to the private sector. What in the world is a "working class" chimp anyway????

This is a scam that has been going on for many years. I first came across it in the 1980's in Florida. I went to look at the 'miniature chimp' they were selling in a newspaper ad. Turned out to be a baby macaque.
I suspect the term 'working class' in this ad means less than a real chimp that the wealthy can buy.

LOL, here's a quote from one of the other monkeys for sale ads from the link you posted. Imagine "we have been working with monkeys for 11 weeks". Now hows that for USDA approved credentials?

"i have two capuchin monkeys for free adoption and ready for good homes. These babies are on the bottle and wearing diapers. Babies come with all paper work including health certificate. Babies are raised in our home with dogs , cats kits. We have been working with monkeys for over 11 weeks"
