A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

these are indeed the same wagon. The Ringling Brothers Circus bell wagon. Circus world bought it from a private collector and restored it with original type wheels sometime in the early 80', I think.
They look more alike if you
turn one around but there is
some modification made in the
restoration (++ the wheels)
Ringling Bell Wagon: I thought the Bell Wagon is still owned by Ringling and on loan to Circus World....Comments Please..
David, you are correct. The Ringling Bros. Bell Wagon also known as The Graand Russian Cathedral Chimes - The Musical Bells of Moscow is owned by Kenneth Feld/Ringling Bros and is on loan to Circus World Museum. it arrived at Circus World in 1984.
The wagon was built in Baraboo, WI in 1892 by the Moller Bros Wagon Works. The Mollers were cousins of the Ringlings.
The nine large bells weighing a total of 4,300 lbs were cast by Centinnal Bell Foundry in Milwaukee.
