Are these the same wagon?

these are indeed the same wagon. The Ringling Brothers Circus bell wagon. Circus world bought it from a private collector and restored it with original type wheels sometime in the early 80', I think.

They look more alike if you

turn one around but there is

some modification made in the

restoration (++ the wheels)

David, you are correct. The Ringling Bros. Bell Wagon also known as The Graand Russian Cathedral Chimes - The Musical Bells of Moscow is owned by Kenneth Feld/Ringling Bros and is on loan to Circus World Museum. it arrived at Circus World in 1984.

The wagon was built in Baraboo, WI in 1892 by the Moller Bros Wagon Works. The Mollers were cousins of the Ringlings.

The nine large bells weighing a total of 4,300 lbs were cast by Centinnal Bell Foundry in Milwaukee.
