Aquarium-- Leipzig Zoo, Germany


Above is a photo of the Aquarium at the Leipzig Zoo the first year it opened in 1910. The photo below was taken the day after it was bombed by Allied forces(that's you and me John Cooper, so don't look behind to see who I am talking about. LOL) Seriously, manning a zoo during war time, while your city is being destroyed has to be mentally excruciating. Hat's off to the staff that survived it and rebuilt.

Wade, I really like the Siberian tiger exhibit at the Leipzig Zoo which you posted on Monday February 9.
