A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Are the tigers she presented from the "same" group you present and Campolongo and Alan Gold had presented ?
Regards,
Thomas
Thomas,
The last tigers from the original group, which I took to Germany to Alan Gold, Micha and Wei died in 2004 before Susan went to Poland, and some older animals from William Voss were added to the number.
Wade
Wade,
Thanks for that. But until when presented john the act ??
Thomas,
So are you going to use my picture instead of Emile Smiths? I am not going to answer your question about John unless you are going to use my picture. Otherwise, ask Emile. LOL
Wade
wade, I am not at home right now and can't check my mail , tomorrow I con home and I will take your picture , can you answer my question ? LOL regards, Thomas
Yhomas,
I'm not at home right now. I can't answer you question. LOL That's all right you could have picked a worse act besides Emile, I guess.
John Campolongo with the act for about 1 1/2 years. Then Alan Gold started with it.
Wade
Back at home, but I didn't receive your mail, I took a picture of you and Isson from your circuspace.
Thanks for answer the question. Can you sent me some pictures at : thomas@bohner.be ??
Regards,
Thomas
Thomas,
Good boy. Here's a piece of meat. Now tell Casey he has to do the same thing, he won't listen to me.
Emile, you better get busy hanging some paper. LOL
Wade
Thomas, there are pictures of Isson in retirement at the Columbus Zoo posted on Sunday April 27, if you would like to see them.
Mary Ann
Thanks for the meat. LOL
What were the names of the tigers you worked with in ringling ?
Thanks Mary,
Is when went she on retirement, and is she still living?
Regards,
Thomas
Stefan, Isson went to the Columbus Zoo in 1989. He was a male and had three mates. Isson and Taj had three sons at Columbus. One of the sons Kubla went to Minot, North Dakota. Minot happens to be the zoo Wade went to when he was young. Isson died in 1999, and Kubla is still alive but old at eighteen years of age.
Mary Ann
Mary Ann,
I believe you meant Thomas?
Wade
Mary,
Thanks and it's thomas and not stefan...
But it doesn't matter.
Wade can you give me the names of the tigers witch were in ringling with you?
Thomas
Thomas, I'm sorry. Wade is correct. The response was meant for you. As for Wade's tigers on Ringling , Wade will have to tell you all of them, but I know of four, and they were all heterozygous. King and Princess came from the Omaha Zoo. Sabre and Madress came from the Columbus Zoo; Isson was their father and Dolly was their mother.
Mary Ann
Addendum to Thomas,
Ramar (younger brother of Tony) was the father of King and Princess, and Botso (daughter of Ranjit) was their mother.
Mary Ann
