Wade, I remember reading in Bandwagon that Lotus was trained to harness by the incomparable "Cheerful" Gardner.

I think that is right, but I question whether walking to "her pool and back" with a leather strap around her jaw is really "training." Sound's more like somebody was bored, and had nothing else to do. LOL
