Rome Zoo--Rome, Italy

La Lupa Capitolina is what this animal is described as. It almost looks like a large Dingo, or possibly a Red Wolf. Ben Trumble is absolutely right about some exhibit/husbandry practices being inhumane to the point of outrageous. This exhibit had a trap door which was raised up, and the wolf's were lured done into the "rocks" which were surrounding a concrete bunker. No windows, lights, or ventilation. I shutter to think that if it were not for a public outcry, there may still be shameful exhibits like this today.
