This is the diciest spec I have ever seen. Look at the dent on the castle. The often argued statement that Irvin Feld saved Ringling seems more valid, when you look at pictures like this. I just got through looking at the 69 GGW Premiere show that Dominic Yodice was kind enough to send me, and when I compare it to the show I first saw in 1974 Irvins impact is

The costumes for the elephant crew didn't look that cheap and bad until the 1992 edition when Axel and the boys were made to wear pink dyed Osh-Gosh-Be-Gosh work shirts for the Rock and Roll show, 8 years after Irvin's demise.
