For Laszlo

Elmlund, Theodore T. - Circus and Allied Arts

Lazlo,
I didn't know if you had seen these pictures of Ted Elmlund. Maybe John Milton will take a few moments, and offer us a more complete bio. When you get ready to share some of your fabulous old liberty act photos with the world, I would sure appreciate having a few downloaded to post here.

Laszlo,
I have moved John Miltons comment to this thread, in the hopes that you don't miss it.

He was A European horse trainer on RBBB in the 30s, I heard that he had a mental breakdown, but was back in 39 replacing Rudy Rudynoff who had union problems in 38 with managemany. I do not know where the Tex name came from.johnny

When I made the thread yesterday, I had recalled that you asked twice about information on "Tex" on the "history channel", over the past four years, and none was forthcoming. That made me assume, given the atmosphere of circus history, that he was probably not a jackpotter and was unliked for some reason. Otherwise "someone" would have been all over him with self serving propaganda. LOL Finally you have found that he was European, crazy, and replaced a "sacred cow." Use anything learned in the circus as a starting point in searching for the truth, not as a concrete fact.
Thank you John Milton. You and a small few are about all that are left to recall the past, and it is appreciated.
