This happens quite often in the difficult economic times that the circus is facing. Using inferior animals and cheap, unskilled riders an attempt is made a "copying" something/someone beautiful, the result being an unpleasant caricature. And the saddest part is, most of the public doesn't know the difference. But some do. The industry refuses to take that fact into consideration, when addressing problems they are now facing.

As established readers will recall, there are 2 German shows called "Probst". This is the one in the eastern part of the country, as may be seen from the fact that it's a "Zirkus". The western lot present a "Cirkus".
