This young mans whips are being used exactly like they would be used for felines, elephants, horses, or any other animal. They are extending his arms, and giving him a larger area to cover. protect or control, by blocking the ducks direction from a further point away given the number of ducks. If he had less ducks, (or a smaller act) the less area he would have to cover, protect, or control.

It's Richard Bormann but I don't know who are his parents.
I would imagine that his father is Erik Bormann whose wife is the former Alexandra Pauwels. His grandmother is sure to be Diana Moreno Borman herself.
