Some of the paint jobs cost $15,000 and had to be repeated every 3 months as the cat's hair grows out. Must be nice to have $60,000 a year just to keep your cat painted!! Be familiar with these faces. Chances are you will see them on the otherside of the street in an Animal Rights rally accusing the circus of being cruel and forcing animals to do unnatural things.

It is on the 16th, and if I remember correctly Charleys was on the 14th. We discovered that the first year I was on the Ringling show, and Charley used to have a big party at the train each year to celebrate that fact. One year he "forced" me to drink a large number of his famous Gin and Tonic's, and I woke up the next morning sleeping on his living room floor. To this day, if I smell gin I get sick to my stomach. But it was better then telling Charley "no".
