A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

We are no doubt looking at the line up, beginning of a rear of all 8 horses and hopefully he will get them all together. Right at the moment they are pretty discombobulated but a few seconds later would be "right in the pocket". I have experienced that a hundred times with well broke horses.
Johnny,
Isn't that the truth. Speaking of which, I think a group hind leg rear is like a capriolle. Breathtaking if done well, but better off left out if done wrong. The picture I ran a couple of days ago of Cindy on the Ringling show, was one of the nicest hind leg rears I have seen in quite some time.
