Breeding success in horrendous conditions. Columbus now has one of the finest Gorilla facilities in the country.

Emmy was the first 2nd generation captive-born female gorilla in the world on February 1, 1968. She was born of Colo and sired by Bongo. Colo was the first captive born gorilla in the United States and was sired by Baron. I suggest like the "white tiger war", Columbus felt if Cincinnati had a Gorilla that sat in a chair like Suzie, they needed a Gorilla that sat in a chair.
