Ghost Zoo--Point Defiance Park Tacoma, Washington

The Board of Park Commissioners approved $2,200 to build a residence in Point Defiance Park in 1898 for Superintendent Ebenezer Rhys Roberts, referred to as the Keeper's Lodge.

Designed by noted Tacoma architect C.A. Darmer, the residence permitted Roberts and his family to live in the park, where he could more easily tend the gardens, feed the zoo animals, and provide general park security.

Paul and Jim,
I don't know what is going on each day there are a hundred comments that need to be deleted from other goofy sites, and some post themselves. Casey has abandoned me, and he used to be half ass technical support, just half ass. I hope to figure out the problem, and return to posting fine old animal/circus/zoo photos. My computer is loaded.

from Jim Stockley: Hi Wade, Wish I could help but I don't really know how to spam filter a blog site. I'll send Casey a message and see what he knows, he is in a fairly 'interesting' area right now, one that has little or no internet. Probably why he seems to have abandoned you .... he is headed my way and should have a good connection in the next few days ;-) take care

Ok, I marked all the hundreds of bullshit comments as spam. I also set up a word verification for people who comment. This means you must type in a random word below comment box, to prove you are a human reading the blog, not just a spam bot posting adverts for other sites. How's that for half ass?!?! Now quit surfing viagra and penile enlargement sites so they stop flooding you with products and cheap porn. If you buy the good expensive porn, you don't need the viagra adverts.

You're welcome
