A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

One can almost smell the fresh pine
Anonymous,
That was my thought. Nothing say's home to me like well done mural. Not surprisingly, there are many people in this world today that wrongly assume because an animal has a mural, a waterfall and a pile of rocks they are happy. If it is a big, bare exhibit they fell the animal is a "prisoner." But fill it with gun-nite and shot-crete, well, shoot now they are not captive. It's just like home. If it looks like something the people would want to live in, then by all means the animal is happy. Go figure....
