I used to get awful excited in anticipation of seeing Clyde, when my folks would take us to the Dakota Zoo in the mid-late 60's. Clyde lived alone at that time.

I only saw Clyde once but he left an impression. I have been trying to find photos of him (or the signs on his pen talking about his size). I am trying to explain to my friends just how impressive he was.
