I recall when "elephant pedicures" became all the rage in the 1980's, as if they had just discovered the mysteries of Black Holes. I received some photo's the other day of someone "showing the love" for their elephants by hosing them off on a hot day. No big deal, it's been done for hundred's of year's as far as I know. When you use that as an example of good husbandry, you are really scrounging for anything.
