Clyde Beatty

What the heck was Clyde doing this day? I appreciate creativity in costuming, but I suggest the white jungle hunter shirt and jodhpurs, with black boots, pith helmet and gun belt worked out much better for him. :)

Most probably someone put his face on some other person's body.
I have a hundred photos of him, none with a dark colored chair.

Dennis,
Both photo have been in the Florida Division of Library and Information Services since 1931. I don't know if they had photo shop back then. I have seen that cat seat used many times by Beatty.

Is this out of a movie? That might explain the costuming.

Bob,
Dennis say's fake picture, you say movie. Why is it so hard to admit that possibly Clyde was not perfect, and occasionally was a nit wit like the rest of us mortal men and wrongly assumed the Gettysburg look was sharp........ Hell, GGW wore a Quo Vadis gladiator costume for a short time, and I never tried to sweep it under the carpet or deny it. :)

They didn't need or have photo shop back then. It is not difficult to change head or faces with old photos now days.
But your comment that maybe Clyde wasn't perfect - outrageous.
Enjoy the warm Mexican weather.
It is mighty cold here and just over the border where you lived(live). Dennis

Dennis,
It has been record cold in Mexico this winter. December was brutal. Down in the 10's and 20's most nights.
