This is the group he worked also at the Monte Carlo festival in 1977. In 1978 he went to Australia working for Ashton circus with the elephants and tigers. Later he went working for Gerry Cottle's with the elephants when those were sold to Mundial in spain he travelled with them and he also presented some tigers there (trained by Jim Clubb). His son also worked this tigers for a year (maybe more) and later started working lions. Marcel recently trained a big lion act with white lions for his son. It was this season at circus balkanski and will be in the winter at Circo Medrano Casartelli.

Everyone seems to get white lions these days.

Stefan,
You are correct. As I mentioned a long time ago my feeling is when the champagne lions first appeared folks expected them to be the sensation white tiger's were initially. It didn't happen, because they just weren't white. The "exciting new color" played out in the late 80's with the white tigers and I think the "exciting new color" lions appeared too soon, and just never caught the worlds imagination. Tabby's made a slight ripple, but not much. There are now a lot of Champagne lions and why not have them. Just don't expect the sensation of the white tigers in the early to mid 70's. It isn't going to happen.
