The Arabian Horse, which at one time was quite rare in the United States is now a popular and not so rare breed. I have to be honest and tell folks who gag at the thought of collecting bull elephants and artificially inseminating cow's that I, as well as the industry collect Arabian stallions, artificially inseminate mares, and yes, horror of horror's will use a surrogate grade mare if the need arises, which might be one of many reason's why the Arabian horse is no longer rare anymore. Do you suppose?
