Arabian Horse Global - Promoting the Arabian Horse Around the World
I am sharing this link with any readers of the blog who are interested in Arabian horses and horse training/showing. The Buckeye, which is currently going on until May 29th, is one of the major show's held each year by the Arabian Horse industry. It is free to sign up for an account so that you can log in to, and view the show as it progresses. I must warn you, you will see everybody wearing spurs, the equivalent of equine bull hooks used in a proper and accepted manner. You may also see some carrying whips in certain classes. And yes, they don't just "carry them" they may also use them in a proper and accepted manner. If training, controlling, and insisting that an animal perform a certain function, at a certain time, when asked to do so, upset's you or offends your sensitivities, you may not want to watch it. The rest of you, I hope you appreciate it and enjoy it as much as I do.
