I have reposted this clip from yesterday, suggested at being the 1930's, with the above photo from 1926 of Circus Hagenbeck in Berlin. The chap in the clip looks like the chap in the photo above, who appears to he a chain-smoker. Does anybody have any idea what his name and Nationality is?

My gues is that he is one of the mahouts who came with the elephants from india.
