For Raffael de Ritis--John Craw's 17 Cigar Box Entomological Odditorium and Flea Circus

Though not as grand as some of the well known traveling show cases from the Craw and Loupe Brother's Combined Shows, Circus Minimus(see below), this case is quite enchanting nonetheless and quite rare as it dates from prior to the merger. John Craw's 17 Cigar Box Entomological Odditorium and Flea Circus included performing insects of several species and numerous entomological curiosities from around the globe.

The stage floor of this case slides out to reveal a padded storage area for the proscenium, magnifying glasses and props. A tube can be inserted into back of the case and threaded through the stage floor just behind the curtain, facilitating the performers' entrances.
