Close to Vintage, but not quite--Marineland and Game Farm 1981

These are a couple of odd photos from 1981, the year I went on Circus Vargas and missed the Marineland summer gig. Hawthorn contracted Josip Marcan to add some of their tigers in with his to make a bigger act, and he went there instead. Again, it will give you an idea of the efforts to do a land and sea mammal show at the same time, on the same stage. Note the stage hand rushing to clear all the tiger props while the dolphin show is on. I think those are Mark Shavers legs holding the hoop for the jumping dolphin, but I am not sure. LOL
