Have i missed something here. He talks about individual lions, but what about making the people more aware of the plight of lions generally?

I don't know, I just can't see this as anything more then a joke. This is 2010, not 1800 and most folks are aware of the plight of most all animals, it is just a matter of deciding what need's to be done about it. Zoo's, wildlife institutions, circus, etc. and the like's need to find a new "schtick" because the "making people aware" deal has become antiquated and tired.
