Wild Equine

Above is a Tarpan photographed at the Moscow Zoo in 1884, and below is Vaska, the first Przewalski's horse from the wild to reach Europe. caught in 1899. I recall when the Przewalski's horse, as well as the Pere David's deer were all the rage and the "flavor 0 the day" in the zoo world. The Tarpan just never seemed to catch on. With the exception of the original import's at the Catskill Game Farm, and I believe the Detroit and Brookfield Zoo's, does anybody know of any other zoo's which exhibited Tarpan, or still do today? For more about Tarpan, as well as the Heck's Auroch recreation experiments type Tarpan and Auroch in the search bar above.
