Whoa Nellie!!!!! Walt Disney can shove imagineering up his ass, and David Hancocks can do the same with immersion. Neither one of them have half a clue what "realism" is. They both need to take an lesson from the Copenhagen Zoo and their new innovative "participation" exhibit.
I can imagine a conversation like this during a meeting of the zoo's Educational Dept......
Director of Education: We took a heck of a financial hit building our new "Golds Gym and Spa Elephant Facility" last year, and we aren't going to be able to afford another one real soon. We need to get folks off of the "save the elephant boat", and get them on a cheaper kick. Something like a "save the goat boat" would be the ticket. Does any body have any idea's?
Zoo Veterinarian: I might have an idea how we can get them to champion goats, so they insist we build a cheap new goat facility, and get off expensive elephant facility's for a while?
Director of Education: Please tell, we are all ears.
Zoo Veterinarian: I don't have it all worked out just yet, but why don't you meet me in the zoo garden tomorrow at noon, and I will show you what I have come up with so far. You might be able to offer suggestions on how to refine it educationally, so our backs are covered in that respect.
