Is Tarongo keeping their Cheetahs and King's together? That seem's odd, unless possibly they are same sex animals, or the Cheetahs are hetro's.

Wade - this is a government owned zoo. It is not for red-necked trailer trash like myself to offer a judgement on what these leaders of the industry get up to.
Given their penchant for such activities, it is not impossible that some knife-happy vet has already nutted the males.
We may have to wait until Glenn gets there next year to ascertain the true situation.
Just to confuse you [and the rest of the zoo going public] some genius decided that the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo [out in the boondocks] should be renamed TARONGA Western Plains Zoo. Nobody would confuse that with the Taronga Zoo on the coast in Sydney, would they?

That's not right that you are "red-necked trailer trash", if TWPZ is using "hillbilly birth control" on their Cheetahs, legally a procedure only performed by men with a Dundee doctorate.
You are spot on about the genius who renamed the Western Plains Zoo at Dubbo the Taronga Western Plains Zoo. Until recently, I just assumed TWPZ was a satellite breeding area for Taronga Zoo herds that couldn't swim, on the out skirts of Sydney, similar to "The Wilds" in Ohio.
