Bremerhaven Zoo Polar Bear Enclosure

I have a question that I would like to ask an animal rights activist, who has decided that animal's have human emotions, "do you suppose Lloyd and Victoria(swear to God, those are the names somebody gave to these two magnificent animals) lay by the glass above, and gaze longingly at the "open water",(which they have never known as they were born in captivity) and pine their life away realizing that they will never experience a swim from ice flow to ice flow again? Or do they consider themselves among the lucky ones, after listening to Al Gore at Copenhagen, that they don't have to be out in that mess?"
