The old elephant enclosure, seen from Regent's Park, which now houses camels and llamas. Having kept elephants in London Zoo for 170 years the Zoological Society of London decided that the space was no longer suitable for them. In 2001 the 3 resident elephants were moved to Whipsnade

Wade,this photo shows the Mappin terraces,which historically held hoofstock species of the alpine and below it were the bear pits where the famous 'Brumas'lived.If the pic was panoramic the 'Casson' Building(elephant house) would be to the right of this photo.It looks as if the photographer was standing in Regents park.Cheers ay.
