Elephants bathing????

This whole situation looks dicey. Note the tail end elephant as they go up the hill, through the spectators. That is some close shit.

Not being an elephant person even I could see this was a bunch of unhappy elephants. The unknowing audience unaware of the danger, I would have been exiting "stage left".

Saw this same senario once at a park only with a team of four green horses. They were picking up people for a stagecoach ride...I left the scene for it was too exlosive for me. luckily that day, as with the elephants, nothing happen but so close.

Dianne,
I think it would help our industry greatly if we would just accept that the public is not as "naive" as they used to be. That, and quite trying to convince each other/fans that all is right with the world. I have said for a long time that we need to get smarter and deal with our ticket buying public on a more intelligent and honestly educational level. Leave the "they are my family/they are like my children" fluff for Sesame Street. Addendum to this video, one of these elephants was recently retired after a number of run offs. I'll bet you a Mexican Eagle(which make nice concho's) it was the smaller one. kicking at the handler and two tracking into the spectators at the end of the clip

Looks like a famous Swiss elephant trainer and his son with the family elephants. From what I understand the elephant that ran away twice was taken back to the winter quarters and not replaced on tour.

Marco is right. Sabu is in winter quarters, there are now only 3 elephants on tour with this famous Swiss circus, This year the father took a step back and his son was presenting the elephants on this show.

This is Franco Sr and Jr with the Circus Knie Elephants. The one that give them troubles on the video is Ma Palaj. The one that took off in Zürich was Sabu.

The Circus Knie has 3 Elephants on the road. 5 are at the zoo in Rapperswil and 2 in a zoo in Belgium....

Vincent is correct, this is from Circus Knie. I've seen the video before, but under a different title. I will send the link if I can find it.
