A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Very nice photo display of an all time great. Like Beatty he had a long run as a hit attraction. I cherish the times I spent with him in various locales along the way.
Some great photos Wade.
Thank you for sharing.
Great pictures Wade, thank you for sharing. What year was this?
Chris
John Herriott,
"Long run's as a hit attraction" is something from that past, that like many other thing's we love, will never be again.
Best wishes to Mary Ruth.

Radar,
Do you have any idea what a prideful moment it was for me, to follow up this legend, two months after these photo's were taken. Doesn't get better then that, until you return to present GGW's tigers upon his retirement. After that you are just "doing the deal", dreams achieved, nothing more to strive for. I so regret Adam, Casey, you, and other young animal guy's, won't have the same star's to shoot for. It was a full bore ride for sure. All you have is myself and Marcan, and none of you will ever be that good. LOL
Be safe, Putz.
Wade
Chris,
This was at the end of the 1983 season. I went over with the White Tigers in 1984.

These pics are amazing. Looks like a professional is working with the tigers.
