Col. Tanglefoot or Madame Col., am I seeing what I am seeing here or is it an optical illusion?

A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

wp,
That is not an acceptable name. Tell us your name, and your response will be posted.
Wade Burck(FYI--this is what is considered an acceptable name.)
Looks to me, if I see it clearly, like our colorfully attired friend has no clue as to the use of horse equipment. It is seen more than you would want to believe. I see that this fellow has put the flash nose above the snaffle bit and not below where it belongs. This error could cause drastic results on a hotter horse than a Friesian and even this kind black fellow might be angry at the pinch this configuration will cause.
You might also notice that the saddle is positioned too high on the horses shoulders which could cause a lot of discomfort and a switching tail.
Madame Col.
Actually if you twist the stirrup leather just right, it takes the iron back to a kinda more balanced position LOL. Actually I may put Amir's saddle there, and see if he can get me up on his ears.
