Madame Col.
Ray Ban's were standard issue to the Lightning Brigade, as I interpret the history books.
Forget styling in shades. You know now that I have one of those "big black hogs" I am going to be pestering you continuously on how to deal with the beast's, although Guapo did well on his first outing. They are a lot harder to mount then a 15 hand Arab though. Not wanting to admit I am at the age where I need a mounting block, and not wanting to struggle in front of the whole division, I let the stirrup out three holes on the left side for ease in mounting. Damn photographer snapped me adjusting it back for riding, the idiot!!!!!!!

Reminds me of Holland last year when I showed my stallion there. I left the arena and they called me back in for a standing "O" but I had already dismounted and no mounting block in sight. The young men came to the front and decided to boost me up (like we always did as kids) only my pants weren't stretching and neither was I and I flopped on like a sack of grain. Lovely I must admit, so it happens to us all.
