Vintage lithograph from the 1900's

Konfrontation einer Tigers und eines Elefanten in einer Tierschau. Druck, 19. Jahrhundert

This confrontation between a tiger and a mounted elephant probably isn’t part of the official program. Note the lady on the elephant. She is the furthest away, and she has fainted. LOL
The man running up on the left in the skivvies is Francois Bidel. He needed to get a new marketing crew. His bio/press release reads:

François Bidel was a famous animal trainer. He was born in 1839, between a crocodile and a vulture in a cage wagon. Bidel used to perform in a theatre cage. He presented several animals at the same time. Predators were the main attraction. He had rather rough methods to provoke their scaring growls and movements.
