A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

I think "American Circus" of Faggioni-Family in Spain!!!
I have now idea who this is but you're right wade this is a sorry bunch, especially the second horse on the left, with the broken check rein.

Bjorn,
I don't know if the check is broken. It may have been unsnapped for some reason. Possibly a head to tail waltz, as I have noted waltz's are done normally on the reverse in Europe. The 4th horse is also unchecked. For a "green" head to tail waltz, it would be standard procedure to uncheck every other horse. Odd, though because if that was the case, it would be the first, third, and fifth horse. Possibly, only every other horse waltz's on the reverse?
