Miss Hickok, or Emma Lake, was a stepdaughter of James Butler Hickok, better known as "Wild Bill Hickok", gunfighter, scout and lawman, a famous figure in the American Old West. She was also one of the Buffalo Gals of Buffalo Bill Cody's Wild West Shows.
