Dear Circus Friend
We have been building a circus library during the past two years, for the use of the Academy of Circus Arts' students, and I am very pleased to tell that this has just been completed. We would now like to start filling the shelves with circus material that will help our students, and this letter is an appeal for your help.
If you would like to donate any material to the ACA library, this will be a great benefit to our students during their training. Items we would like to include are circus-related books, programmes, posters, photos, video-tapes and DVDs.
In recognition of the donations made, the names of all our benefactors will be included on a Roll of Honour plaque in the new library, and also be given membership of our Friends of ACA League. Those who donate one or two items will be given Bronze member status, up to twenty-five items become Silver members, and those who generously donate more than twenty-five items will become Gold members.
If every circus enthusiast donates just one item, our shelves will soon be full and our students will have a most useful resource, one that will be a valuable benefit to them as they take their first steps towards a career in the circus.
