Captain Jim Roose, a lion tamer, performs with the lioness that killed his ten-year-old daughter and his brother. The tragedy occurred when Roose, a former Foreign Legionnaire, was a prisoner of war. His brother managed the act while he was away. The act, known as Jungle Fantasy, is part of the Pete Collins Variety Act. As part of the act, the lions take meat from Roose's lips and lick his face.
