1979 and 1981 was when I was invited to Monte Carlo. What cage act's were there those years do you know. That was back in the day's when you were invited. It wasn't necessary to stand outside the castle keep in the weather, in the hopes of being noticed, and invited in. Back when it was a competition of honor, and not a festival.

In 1979 their was Dieter Farell and Erich Leuzinger and in 1981 their was Mary Chipperfield and Peter and Katja Stanik. As Bjorn said Mary C. was with the horses at MC in 1980, she also presented a high school act and a mini maxi act. Dieter Farell won silver in 1979 with his mixed act witch was for some years at Krone and Sarasani.

I have never heard of Erich Leuziner, or Peter and Katia Stanik. What type act did they do? What I have heard about Deiter Farell it would have been a good head to head competition.
Mini/maxi is funny. In America we call them a big/little act.

Erich Leuziner was in 1986 and 1988 in Circus Berolina with tigers that is the only thing I know about him. Peter and Katja Stanik were in 1981 in Circus Berolina, 1985 at Knie and in 1991 at Circus Busch-Berolina. They presented a mixed act. I know they had a polar bear and some tigers. Dieter Farell had a good mixed act with a sit up pyramid with pedestals of different heights, over garden wall trick, lay down and sit up and some more tricks. People told me it was a very good mixed act.

Erich Leuzinger was also in 1964 at Franz Althoff, 1979 Switzerland Circus.
Peter and Katja Stanik took over the mixed act of the Samel's in 1979.

Erich Leuziner presented in 1964 the mixed act of Circus Franz Althoff in Circus Franz Althoof, in '65 and '66 he presented 6 tigers in the California National Circus. He worked from '69 until '78 in Knie's Child zoo, then he started to work with tigers:
