A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

I saw only his white tiger act in 2000 when I was just 6 years old the third cage act I ever saw. I have it on tape and I still have the programm here at home. 4 white tigers (Nashmi, Kismeth, Mohan and Shiva) 1 snowwhite (Madras) and 1 golden tabby (Kashmir) A beautiful act with many touch with the animals, many pyramids, a reverse jump over over two animals, jump over fence, hang on cage, roll over, sit up's, drapped over bar and jumps. The animals were really beautiful and the combination of the lights and the music was awesome ! He was a very good presenter and trainer, I saw a video of his last mixed act with polar bears, leopard, panther, lion and some tigers. He stopped with this act in 1991 and begon the white tiger act in 1992 in 2000 he had also an act of 8 siberian tigers but I can't remember that act very well. Also don't have that one on tape. He started his career with a cage act at Hageback I think and presented a mixed group of Circus Benneweis at the Blackpool Tower Circus in 1960. In 1962 he bought 2 tigers, 2 leopards, 2 pumas, 4 lions and one black panther. In 1971 he bought Circus Barum. Since then he trained the best cage acts at Circus Barum - Siemoneit, It also called for some years Circus Safari.
